In Fall 2014, I began creating music reviews for my own enjoyment. I decided to share my thoughts with the world, beginning a blogger account January 2015 and posting album reviews (and the occasional concert review). But, how to choose a name?

"Acoustic" is a style of non-amplified music, and the verb "scribe" means to write. I felt that "The Acoustic Scribe" accurately described my thoughts on music, since I'd begin writing reviews on paper and hadn't started off digitally.

 

What started off as more of a hobby soon became pointed in the direction of a career, and I knew I had to expand my website to include more. Now here I am, with a photo gallery of concerts, more organized blog posts, and even a "contact me" page!
